Poesy Wallpapers
The Poesy Wallpaper Collection is inspired by a unique and rare Dominoe Paper Collection housed in the Zoffany Archive. These were often used as linings for deed boxes, trunks, end papers for books, outer decoration for boxes, or the inner covering of musical instrument cases and the patterning of playing cards. With origins in France, Italy, England and Germany, the Dominoe Papers in the Archive date from the early to late 18th century.
